Madison County is home to more than 55,000 acres of National Forest, with a plethora of outdoor adventures to get your hands on, whether you prefer a faster-paced white water rafting trip down the French Broad River, a modest hike along the Appalachian Trail in the Pisgah National Forest, a leisurely horseback ride, or maybe an unwinding dip in the Hot Springs. The regular craftsmanship shows and music festivals alongside the open air view guarantee a fit for each individual's taste.
